Tom Pokorny

Tom Pokorny has spent the last 20 years working in the motorsports media and communications fields.  After beginning his motorsports career at Daytona International Speedway in public relations, Tom managed International Speedway Corporation’s publications division that produced souvenir programs for all ISC tracks.  In this capacity, Tom also managed the creative, photography and archives functions for ISC.

Tom joined the Anthem Media Group in 2008 as President of Anthem Motorsports and has continued to provide custom media production in the motorsports industry.  In addition, Tom serves as President of Anthem Media, an integrated marketing and multimedia agency specializing in consumer engagement and lead generation.

After earning a bachelor of arts degree from St. Cloud State University In Minnesota, Tom followed a girl (is there a better reason?) to Florida to begin a career and start a family.  They now have two daughters and a full slate of school programs, band performances, dance recitals and figure skating competitions.  As the schedules allow, Tom enjoys taking his mediocre golf game to some of the world’s greatest golf courses and exaggerating his skill to anyone willing to listen.

Cynthia Dusenbery is a Southerner in all the best aspects of the word.  She has developed a keen insight through not only extensive travel, but also through a journalism background that ranges from local newspapers to national network broadcast news to international publications on subjects that include photography, travel, history, family and motorsports. After growing up in Atlanta, “the Crown Jewel of the New South,” and graduating from Kennesaw State University with a degree in journalism, she brought her Atlanta Braves Tomahawk Chop and Georgia Bulldog Bark deep into Florida territory.  Cynthia found peaceful co-existence writing about motorsports and racing with Anthem Motorsports more than a decade ago.  She lives in DeLand with her husband Eric, and has two daughters, Julie, 25, and Amanda, 19.

Born and raised in Florida, she sells seashells by the seashore.  She was educated at The Mercersburg Academy and Stetson University.  She’s a Blue Devil with a Green Hat on.  Mother to one child and one dog.  Momma needs a new pair of shoes and I ain’t too proud to beg.  Gigi enjoys reading (recently migrated to an e-reader), spending time outside with family (child and dog) and relaxing at the beach. It’s a wonderful life.

Annie Sidesinger

Annie Sidesinger has worked for Anthem Motorsports for almost three years as a graphic designer and creative consultant extraordinaire. She made her first professional photographs at the age of 13 when she shot a picture for an independent album cover. That was her inspiration to join her high school newspaper.  She then moved on to attend the first journalism school in the world — the University of Missouri.  From there, she graduated with a degree in magazine design. Annie is a sports fanatic (MIZ & GO CHIEFS) and a self-proclaimed shoe addict.

Paul Kaperonis

Paul Kaperonis has been highly involved in the motorsports communication and media business for the past 20 years.  He has managed the national media sales efforts for a wide variety of programs including UMI Publications and its full line of motorsports and collegiate publications.
